Quick answer
Is HomeoAxis a good HealthPlix alternative?
HomeoAxis, 1 of the 15 products compared here, is a cloud clinic system built only for homeopathy. HealthPlix EMR (with the HealthPlix SPOT app) by HealthPlix Technologies is a generic EMR — best for: Doctors of any speciality who want fast prescriptions in regional languages and ABDM-ready records. HomeoAxis Pro, the full clinic plan, is ₹2,399 per month billed annually (₹28,790 a year, about ₹79 a day; list price ₹4,799) for 1 clinic and up to 5 logins in all (up to 2 of them doctors). Lite, ₹1,599 per month billed annually, is the clinic-profile-and-leads plan only. Larger plans cover more clinics (Plus, Elite). There is no free plan. Pro, Plus and Elite include every module from the start; Lite opens every module for its first 14 days.

When the internet or the server is down
| Product | Type | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| HomeoAxis | Cloud — encrypted offline copy on every device | Patient and doctor first: even if the internet and our server are both down, every phone, tablet and PC already signed in keeps an encrypted copy of the clinic's records that person can open — every patient, and for doctors each patient's case history and past prescriptions, plus the last 12 months of invoices, appointments from 30 days back to 60 days ahead, follow-ups, leads and stock — so the consultation can go on. Read-only: new records wait for the connection; a consultation already open stays on screen with what was typed and saves it by itself when the connection returns, as long as that page is not closed or reloaded meanwhile. |
| HealthPlix | Cloud — limited offline mode | Cloud EMR; HealthPlix announced an offline version in which prescriptions are written without a connection and synced later, while its FAQ says it is used “as long as you have connectivity”; which records stay readable offline is not stated. |
Switching from HealthPlix to HomeoAxis
HomeoAxis imports patients from a CSV file of up to 2 MB and 5,000 rows (rows beyond 5,000 are not read), with a preview before anything is saved. The file needs a name column and a phone column (a 10-digit mobile number); city, address, email, gender and an old case number are optional. If your clinic keeps its own case numbers, the old case numbers are kept as each patient's custom case number, and an old case number that clashes with one already in use is listed and skipped. Rows with no name or an invalid phone are listed and skipped; the same name with the same phone is skipped as a duplicate, while the same phone with a different name is added as a family member. Case histories, prescriptions and invoices are not imported. Pro, Plus and Elite include every module from the start; Lite opens every module for its first 14 days.
We have not compared HealthPlix's export options, so ask HealthPlix what it can export as a spreadsheet, and keep its backup until the new records are checked. HomeoAxis does not take over a HealthPlix database directly.
Questions doctors ask
HealthPlix lists a “Homeopathic” speciality in its online demo, and a homeopath can keep appointments, records and prescriptions in it. Its public pages (read 16 Oct 2026) do not describe homeopathic case-taking with generals, mind and modalities, a repertory, materia medica or remedy potencies. HomeoAxis is built only for homeopathy: structured case-taking, the OOREP repertory, materia medica, AI case analysis, potency and dosage on every prescription, and a medicine preparation queue.
